In early May, 6 students and 4 faculty/staff went to Gaborone, Botswana to teach students in local schools. Students from the engineering and public health disciplines taught lesson plans covering recycling, teamwork, bullying, self esteem, geography, rockets, bridge structures and calorie counting, The group also visited the Etali Safari Lodge in South Africa, the Three Chiefs Monument, Botho University, the local market and the Botswana Defense Force Animal Awareness Park.
